According to the calculations of the Panchang, this year Ashadh Krishna Ekadashi Tithi is starting on Friday, July 10, 2026 at 08:16 AM. This date is the next day i.e. July 11, 2026, Saturday at 05:22 am Will remain valid till.

Since ‘Hari Vasar’ (the initial fourth part of Ekadashi tithi) is ending at 10.32 am on 11th July, the fast this time is divided into two different dates as per the rules of the scriptures:

The full results of any Ekadashi fast are achieved only when its Parana (breaking of the fast) is done on the next day within the auspicious and precise Muhurta. Paran timings for the fasts of both the days are as below:

  • Parana for those observing fast on 10th July (For Smartas): Those who observe fast on Friday, they will observe fast on the next day i.e. On July 11, from 01:50 pm to 04:36 pm You can break your fast between. (Due to Saturday morning being Hari Vasar, Parana will be prohibited in the morning).

  • Parana for those observing fast on 11th July (For Vaishnavas): Those devotees who observe fast on Saturday, On July 12, from 05:32 am to 08:18 am You can complete the process of Parana at a very auspicious time between.
