New Delhi, March 12 (HS). World Travels and Tourism Council of India (WTTCI) has awarded the Chhattisgarh government for its remarkable work in the field of tourism.
The council also released a report on the popularity of tourism at an event organized in New Delhi on Tuesday. G20 Sherpa Amitabh Kant was present as the chief guest in the program and Manisha Saxena, Director General of Tourism, Government of India, was present as special guest.
On this occasion, Amitabh Kant said that world class facilities for tourism have been developed in the country in the last 10 years. He said that the next century belongs to India. Now continuous development of facilities for tourists across the country is also being done on PPP model. On this occasion, Chhattisgarh Government's Tourism Minister Brajmohan Agarwal received the award from his representative Atul Singhal.
