The message wrote, “The Reserve Bank has asked all banks to stop withdrawing 500 rupee notes from ATMs by September 30, 2025. The target is to stop extracting 500 rupee notes from ATMs of 75% banks by March 31, 2026 and then 500 rupee notes from 90% ATM.
