News India Live, Digital Desk: Gaza Peace Summit : A big meeting is going to be held in Egypt to reduce the ongoing tension between Israel and Hamas. Big leaders from all over the world have been called for this peace summit. It is reported that Egyptian President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi and US President Donald Trump have also invited Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to attend this important meeting.
This meeting is going to be held on October 13 in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt. Its objective is to find a way to end the ongoing fighting in the Gaza Strip and establish lasting peace in the Middle East.
Why did PM Modi suddenly get the call?
According to sources, this invitation has been given to PM Modi on Saturday itself, i.e. shortly before the meeting. However, there is no official confirmation yet from the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) whether PM Modi will attend this conference or not.
This summit will be jointly chaired by Egyptian President Al-Sisi and US President Donald Trump, in which leaders of more than 20 countries are expected to attend. A statement issued by the Egyptian Presidential Palace said that the goal of this meeting is to end the war in Gaza and usher in a new era of security and stability in the region.
