News India Live, Digital Desk: The wait of more than 52 lakh students who appeared for the high school and intermediate examinations of Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Council (UPMSP) is about to end. With the completion of the evaluation of copies, the board is now busy in finalizing the result. According to the latest update, UP Board can announce the results anytime between April 20 to April 25. After a minor delay in evaluation due to Holi and other festivals, the process of updating the result portal has now been expedited.
Checking of copies completed, now feeding of marks begins
The evaluation work of UP Board’s high school and intermediate answer sheets has been officially completed on April 4. The board had given strict instructions to all the evaluation centers to submit the award list (list of marks) to the regional offices by April 5. Now the work of uploading the marks on the website and preparing the merit list is going on war footing by the IT cell of the board. If sources are to be believed, this time too the board is preparing to set a new record by declaring the results in record time.
Result may come between 20th to 25th April
If we look at the trend of previous years, UP Board has released the results only in the third or fourth week of April. In the year 2025, the results were declared on 25th April, whereas in 2024, the results were declared on 20th April. This year also the result date can be officially announced any day after April 20. Students should be ready with their roll number and school code as the link will be activated on the official website of the board upmsp.edu.in and upresults.nic.in as soon as the result is released.
Last chance to upload internal marks
The board has given a strict warning to those schools which have not yet uploaded the internal assessment and practical marks of the students on the portal. The portal was re-opened for such schools on 6 and 7 April. The board has made it clear that if the result of any student is delayed due to lack of these marks, then the entire responsibility for this will be on the Principal of the concerned school. This is the last stage of the process, once completed, the result will be locked.
