News India Live, Digital Desk: ISIS Terror Plot in India: Have you ever thought that the hands which we consider to be saving lives, can be responsible for the death of thousands of people? This story is not from any movie, but a reality which has shocked even the security agencies of the country. Gujarat ATS (Anti-Terrorism Squad) has recently exposed such a dreadful conspiracy, in which the main character is an educated doctor.

35-year-old Dr Ahmed Mohiuddin Syed, a resident of Hyderabad, Telangana, who had to save lives, was preparing for a major terrorist attack in India at the behest of Islamic State Khorasan Province (ISKP). This was no ordinary attack; It was being prepared with such a dangerous biological weapon which is thousands of times more poisonous than cyanide.

What was this dangerous conspiracy?

According to Gujarat ATS, this network was planning to kill thousands of people simultaneously in many cities of the country. For this, Dr. Syed was preparing a very poisonous substance named ‘Ricin’. Risin is made from castor oil and even very small amounts of it can prove fatal.

Dr. Syed was not alone in this conspiracy. Two more youths from Uttar Pradesh, Azad Suleman Shaikh and Mohammad Suhail Khan, were also part of this network. When ATS arrested these three, foreign pistols, 30 cartridges and castor oil used in making ‘ricin’ were also recovered from them.

How was this network exposed?

Security agencies were keeping an eye on this module for the last one year. ATS had received a secret information that Dr. Syed of Hyderabad was planning a terrorist attack in India and had come to Ahmedabad in this connection.[ActingonthisinformationATSarrestedDrSyedandhistwoassociatesfromAdalajnearGandhinagar[इसीसूचनापरकार्रवाईकरतेहुएएटीएसनेगांधीनगरकेपासअदलाजसेडॉसैयदऔरउसकेदोनोंसाथियोंकोधरदबोचा।

During interrogation, it was revealed that the links of these terrorists were connected to the handlers sitting in Pakistan, who used to send weapons from across the border through drones. Dr. Syed’s handler was a terrorist named ‘Abu Khadija’ sitting in Afghanistan, who is associated with ISKP. Before attacking, these people had also conducted recce of crowded places in big cities like Delhi, Ahmedabad and Lucknow.

This incident gives relief that a major danger has been averted, but it also creates a deep concern. Terrorist organizations are now trapping educated and professional people like doctors and using them against the country. This case shows that the threat of terrorism has now taken new and more dangerous forms, and we need to be even more vigilant in dealing with it.
