News India Live, Digital Desk: Farming is not an easy task. Farmers have to face many difficulties from growing their crops to selling them at the right price. Understanding this problem, the Haryana government has started a scheme for the farmers, which is making almost every work of theirs easier. The name of this scheme is – ‘My crop, my details’,

This is not just a scheme, but a ‘single window’ platform for farmers, where they can give all the information related to their crops to the government and in return can avail direct benefits of many government schemes.

What is ‘Meri Fasal Mera Byora’ portal?

‘Meri Fasal Mera Byora’ is an online portal. On this, farmers can register their crops while sitting at home. In this they have to tell which crop they have sown on how many acres of land. After entering this information, farmers come into the notice of the government and doors of government help are opened for them.

What benefits are farmers getting from this?

  1. Direct benefits of government schemes: Whatever schemes the government runs for farmers, like subsidy on crops, rebate on fertilizers and seeds, or compensation in case of crop failure, its benefits are directly available to only those farmers who are registered on this portal. The money reaches their bank account directly.
  2. Ease of selling crops on MSP: Registration on this portal is mandatory for farmers who want to sell their crops to the government at Minimum Support Price (MSP). After registration, they are told through a message when they have to come to the market with their crops. This helps in getting rid of unnecessary crowd and waiting in the market.
  3. Weather information: Weather related warnings and farming related advice are also sent to the farmers registered on this portal on their mobile phones.
  4. All facilities in one place: Now farmers do not have to visit different government offices for different works. They get information and facilities about almost all government services related to farming on a single portal.

How and where to register?

  • Farmer himself from his smartphone or computer fasal.haryana.gov.in You can register yourself by visiting the website.
  • Apart from this, they can also get this work done by visiting their nearest Common Service Center (CSC) or Atal Seva Kendra.
  • For registration, information like Aadhar card, land documents (Fard), name of crop and mobile number are required.

This scheme is proving to be a game-changer for the farmers of Haryana, which is making them more empowered and self-reliant by connecting them with technology.
