    • Use the OTP received on the mobile number linked to your Aadhaar.
  2. Net Banking:
    • Perform e-verification by logging in with your net banking account.
  3. Pre-Validated Bank Account:
    • Use a pre-validated bank account.
  4. Pre-Validated Demat Account:
    • E-verification can also be done through demat account.

Things to keep in mind while doing e-verification

Keep the following things in mind while doing ITR verification:

  • Aadhaar Linked Mobile Number: Make sure your mobile number is linked to Aadhaar to receive OTP.
  • Linked Bank Account:
    • To generate EVC (Electronic Verification Code), your bank account should be linked to the e-filing portal.
  • Demat Account:
    • The demat account should also be linked to the e-filing portal.
  • Use of ATM:
    • You can verify ITR by generating EVC from ATM in offline mode.
  • Digital Signature Certificate (DSC):
    • Verification can be done digitally using net banking or DSC.
