For lakhs of youth of Bihar and candidates preparing for competitive examinations, the biggest, important and administrative prompt news of this time is coming out. The countdown for the second phase of Bihar Police Constable Recruitment Examination being conducted by the Central Selection Board (Constable Recruitment) has started. To conduct this grand examination in a completely malpractice-free, transparent and safe environment, Bihar Police and the state administration have made the most stringent security arrangements in history. Such an impenetrable maze of security has been created at about 500 high-profile examination centers across the state, which will be impossible for any solver gang or fraudster to penetrate. The administration has given a clear warning that those who commit any kind of irregularities in the examination will be sent directly behind the bars.
From biometric attendance to jammers, exam centers were transformed into digital forts.
According to the official ground report received from Bihar Police Headquarters and Examination Organizing Committee, this time modern digital and hi-tech security devices are being used instead of traditional methods to stop fraud and scholars (Munnabhais). Along with intensive physical checking of every candidate, Advanced Biometric Attendance will be taken at the main gate of the examination center itself, in which fingerprint and face recognition will be mandatory. Additionally, high-frequency jammers have been activated at all 500 centers to thwart attempts of paper leakage and copying through any kind of electronic gadget, Bluetooth device or mobile inside the examination hall.
Live monitoring through CCTV cameras, every moment monitoring will be done from Patna main control room.
Considering the sensitivity of this examination, every examination center and every room has been kept under the surveillance of CCTV cameras. The direct live streaming of these cameras has been connected to the state level central control room set up in the capital Patna, where teams of senior administrative officers and IT experts are live monitoring the activities at each center from moment to moment. If even the slightest suspicious activity is seen at any centre, the local flying squad and police captains will be immediately alerted for on-the-spot action. Also, Section 144 will remain in force around the examination centers and movement of unauthorized persons has been completely banned.
Intelligence system keeps a close watch on solver gang and rumor mongers, police stations on high alert
Taking lessons from the experiences of the examinations held in the past, the Economic Offenses Unit (EOU) and Special Task Force (STF) of Bihar Police as well as local intelligence have been made extremely active. From the administrative corridors of Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, to the police of other states of the country, they also keep an eye on such big exam security patterns. Police captains have made it clear that a raid campaign is already being conducted against the elements spreading rumors related to paper leak or fake answer keys on social media and solver gangs who cheat innocent students. The police stations of all the concerned districts have been kept on high alert and asked to remain alert.
