Strait of Hormuz will now be completely ‘toll-free’

American news channel ‘Fox News’ Fox News, quoting White House sources, has told in its special report that under this agreement, Iran will completely open the strategic Strait of Hormuz, where no ‘toll’ will be collected from the commercial or oil ships of any country passing through it. A senior US administration official has confirmed that as soon as Iran fully reopens this waterway for trade, the US Navy will lift its strict blockade of Iranian ports and soon after this a joint operation to remove naval mines laid in the sea will begin.

Earlier, Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi had said that Iran and Oman will soon issue a joint statement regarding shipping management in the Strait of Hormuz. He clarified that although there has been no official talk about charging toll, it is expected that a basic fee will be charged for the naval and technical services provided to the ships.

Ceasefire and respect for sovereignty are the center of the agreement

According to this leaked draft, the first and essential condition of the agreement is that there should be an immediate and permanent end to the ongoing military war on all fronts in the Middle East, including Lebanon. This deal also includes a big and written promise from America that in the future it will fully respect the territorial sovereignty of Iran and will not interfere in any of its internal political affairs.

This entire peace framework comes after a fierce military conflict in which thousands of innocent people on both sides have been killed, the majority of whom were civilians from Iran and Lebanon. During this war, Iran effectively blocked the Strait of Hormuz, in response to which the US Navy blockaded Iranian ports. Due to this tension, a major energy crisis had arisen at the global level and the prices of crude oil and gas started touching the sky all over the world.
