
News India Live, Digital Desk: Mathura: Mathura district of Uttar Pradesh In an important campaign, the police detained 90 Bangladeshi citizens from Khajpur village in Nauhjheel police station area. According to Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Shlok Kumar, the inspection was part of the campaign to confirm the identity and validity of the laborers working in the rural areas of the district.
SSP Kumar told ANI on Friday, “About 90 people were found citizens of Bangladesh during the investigation of Bhatts in Khajpur village by Thana Naujheel’s team. They have all been detained and are being questioned. They are 35 men, 27 women and 28 children.”
He said, “He told that he had reached Mathura three-four months ago, before he was living in a nearby state. She is being interrogated. Other agencies have also been informed about this. She is also questioning them.”
Earlier, the Uttar Pradesh government had launched a fast campaign to capture and send Bangladeshi and Rohingya intruders living in the state.
Officials said that action has already been taken against Pakistani citizens living illegally and now a similar focus is being focused on Bangladeshi and Rohingya migrants.
Officials have found that IMany of them are living in many districts of the state with changed identity.
Instructions have been sent to the District Magistrate, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) and Police Commissioners of all the districts to speed up the identity process.
Along with this, a campaign is also going on against illegal and unauthorized constructions on the Indo-Nepal border. According to the CMO’s statement, Uttar Pradesh has become the first state in the country, from where 100 percent of Pakistani citizens have been sent back. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath himself is monitoring the return of Pakistani citizens.
It is noteworthy that similar actions are going on in many states across the country in the last few days.
