Two road accidents in Narayangarh in the same night, two dead

Medinipur, December 05: Two people died tragically in two road accidents that took place at different places in Narayangarh police station area on Kharagpur-Baleshwar National Highway No. 16 late on Sunday night, while another youth was seriously injured. The first accident occurred near Rampura toll plaza under Narayangarh police station. According to police and local sources, two youths riding a motorcycle were going from Bansgarhia towards Kharagpur. Meanwhile, an unknown vehicle hit their bike hard, due to which both the youths fell on the national highway and got seriously injured. In the accident, one youth died on the spot, while the condition of the other is said to be critical. The injured youth was immediately admitted to Medinipur Medical College and Hospital. Police said that both the youths were residents of Kharagpur local police station area. The accident-prone motorcycle has been seized and the families of the deceased and injured have been informed. The second accident took place on the same night in Badamara area of ​​National Highway No. 16, where a motorcyclist lost control and fell victim to an accident. In this accident the bike rider died on the spot. On receiving information, Narayangarh police station and National Highway Authority officials reached the spot and recovered the body. The deceased person has not been identified yet. Police are trying to identify the deceased by seizing the crashed motorcycle.
