The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) has extended the last date for filing GSTR-3B returns for the month of October. This news is a big good news for all those businessmen who were worried about the tax filing deadline amid the busy festival season.

Generally, each month’s GSTR-3B return is to be filed by the 20th of the following month. Accordingly, the last date for returns for October 2025 was October 20. But in view of the festival of Diwali, the government has decided to give additional time to the taxpayers.

With this move of the government, they have got an additional extension of 5 days, so that they can focus on their business and festival first.
