Tomorrow’s weather: Warning of heavy rain in these states including UP, Bihar and Delhi, know the weather report before leaving home.


New Delhi/Lucknow. The pace of monsoon is going to increase once again in a large part of the country, which will bring relief to the people suffering from scorching heat and humidity, but it can also become a disaster for some areas. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a big and serious alert regarding tomorrow’s weather. According to meteorologists, monsoon is making a strong comeback in the northern and eastern parts of the country, due to which there is a strong possibility of torrential rains in many states including Delhi-NCR, Uttar Pradesh (UP), Bihar and West Bengal. The administration has also been instructed to remain alert in these areas.

Warning of heavy rain in Delhi-NCR and Uttar Pradesh (UP)

According to the Meteorological Department report, the sky will be densely cloudy tomorrow in Delhi and its surrounding areas (Noida, Ghaziabad, Gurugram and Faridabad) and a period of heavy rain with thunder and lightning may begin. At the same time, ‘Orange Alert’ of heavy to very heavy rain has been issued in most of the districts of Purvanchal and Western UP including Lucknow, Kanpur, Varanasi and Prayagraj of Uttar Pradesh. In view of the possibility of lightning, people have been advised not to go out in the open.

Alert of catastrophic rain in Bihar and West Bengal

Talking about Eastern India, monsoon can adopt the most aggressive attitude in Bihar and West Bengal. Due to heavy rainfall in many districts of Bihar including Patna, Bhagalpur and Gaya, a situation of waterlogging may arise in low-lying areas. Along with this, a warning of torrential rain has also been issued in Sub-Himalayan areas of West Bengal and Gangetic West Bengal. Fishermen have been instructed not to go into the sea and the risk of landslides has increased in the hilly areas.

The effect of this activity of monsoon will not be limited only to North and East India. The Meteorological Department has also predicted light to moderate and at some places heavy rain in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Odisha and Jharkhand tomorrow. Apart from this, there are signs of intensification of monsoon activities in coastal Karnataka and Kerala of South India. An alert has also been issued in the hilly states of Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh regarding flash floods, hence tourists have been instructed to stay away from rivers and streams.
