There is going to be a big change in the rules for getting a driving license from June 1, in which you will be able to get your driving license without going to the RTO. Now you will not have to wait long for the driving test. This rule is being brought for the convenience of drivers.
No need to wait for the driving test
Till now, one had to go to the RTO for driving test to get a driving license, but now this will not happen. In view of the increasing waiting time for driving license, the government is considering conducting tests at private RTO centers. If this rule is implemented, then you will not need to go to the RTO for driving license. Apart from this, employment will also increase in the form of private driving centers.
This rule will be for private centers
The government is making special rules for private driving license centers, which will make it mandatory for driving license centers to have one acre of land for two-wheelers and 2 acres of land for four-wheelers. Along with this, it is mandatory for the trainer to have a high school diploma or its equivalent degree, at least five years of driving experience and knowledge of biometric and IT systems.
what will be the rule
These centres will have to provide 29 hours of training in 4 weeks for light motor vehicles (LMVs), which will include 8 hours of theory and 21 hours of practical training. For heavy motor vehicles (HMVs), it will be mandatory to undergo 38 hours of training in 6 weeks, which will include 8 hours of theory and 31 hours of practical training.
