- Boiled gram (black or white) – 1 cup
- Boiled potatoes (cut into small pieces) – 2 medium sized
- Onion (finely chopped) – 1
- Tomato (finely chopped, seeds removed) – 1
- Green chilli (finely chopped) – 1 (as per taste)
- Green Coriander (finely chopped) – 2 teaspoons
- Sweet and sour tamarind chutney – 3 spoons
- Coriander-mint green chutney – 2 spoons
- Chaat masala – 1 tsp
- Black salt – ½ tsp
- Red chilli powder – ¼ tsp (optional)
- Roasted cumin powder – ½ tsp
- Lemon juice – 1 teaspoon
- Barik Sev (Nylon Sev) – for garnishing
- Pomegranate seeds – for garnishing (optional)
How to make it in 5 minutes? (Method of preparation)
- Mix everything: First of all take a big bowl. Add boiled gram and chopped boiled potatoes in it.
- Add vegetables: Now add finely chopped onion, tomato, green chilli and green coriander.
- Magic of spices: After this, add chaat masala, black salt, red chili powder and roasted cumin powder in the bowl.
- Bring taste with chutneys: Now add sweet tamarind chutney and spicy coriander-mint chutney to it for real taste. Also squeeze lemon juice on top.
- Mix well: Now mix everything well with the help of a spoon so that all the spices and chutneys get applied well on the potatoes and gram.
- Serve like this: Your spicy Aloo Chana Chaat is ready! Take it out in a serving plate or bowl. Sprinkle lots of finely chopped sev, some green coriander and pomegranate seeds on top and serve immediately.
