News India Live, Digital Desk: Bollywood’s ‘Dhak Dhak girl’ Madhuri Dixit’s Canada tour is embroiled in controversies. Madhuri reportedly reached one of her shows in Toronto late by about 3 hours, after which her fans present there got angry. After this incident, people slammed the show’s management on social media and called it a “waste of money and time”.

What is the whole matter?

The incident took place at an event named ‘Dil Se… Madhuri’ held at the Great Canadian Casino Resort in Toronto on November 2. The audience who bought the tickets allege that the show time was 7:30 pm, but Madhuri Dixit reached the stage at around 10 pm. Fed up with the hours of waiting, many people described the show as extremely poor and disorganized.

People’s anger is clearly visible in the videos and posts that have gone viral on social media. One user wrote, “This was the worst show ever. Very disorganized. The ad didn’t mention that she would just talk and dance for just two seconds to every song.” Many people even demanded refund of their ticket money.

Disappointed with only talking instead of dancing

Another major reason for the fans’ displeasure was that the show was promoted like a concert, but it remained a glorified Q&A session. People expected that Madhuri would dance on her famous songs, but it did not happen. One disappointed fan wrote, “There was no dance performance, just a talk show with some hook steps. This was a complete false advertisement.”

Some fans defended Madhuri

However, amidst all this criticism, some fans also came in support of Madhuri Dixit. She believes that there is no fault of the actress in this, rather all this happened due to poor management of the event. A fan wrote, “Madhuri Dixit is amazing. Real fans will appreciate even a glimpse of her. It’s not her fault if the show is not organized properly.”

At present, no official statement has come from Madhuri Dixit or her team on this entire controversy.
