National Testing Agency (NTA) may soon start the registration process for Joint Entrance Examination-Main (JEE Main) 2026. All the students who will appear or have appeared for the 12th exam in 2026 and want to study in prestigious institutes like IITs, NITs, should gear up for their preparation as well as application now.

This examination is a national level entrance examination for admission to undergraduate courses in Engineering (BE/B.Tech), B.Arch and B.Planning. Like every year, this year too JEE Main is likely to be conducted in two sessions – the first session in January-February and the second session in April.

How to apply for JEE Main 2026? (Steps to Apply)

The registration process will be completely online. As soon as NTA activates the link, students can fill their form by following these easy steps:

1. Go to official website: First of all official website of NTA JEE Main jeemain.nta.nic.in Go to.
2. Click on the registration link: On the homepage you will see “JEE Main 2026 Registration” or similar link, click on it.
3. Complete Registration: Register yourself by entering your basic information like name, mobile number and email ID. Your application number and password will be generated, keep it safe.
4. Fill the Application Form: Now log in with your application number and password and fill all the personal and educational information asked carefully.
5. Upload Documents: Scan your recent passport size photograph, signature and other required documents and upload them in the prescribed format and size.
6. Pay Fees: Pay the application fee through online mode (Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking or UPI) as per your category.
7. Submit and download the form: After double-checking everything, submit your application form and take a printout of the confirmation page or save it for future reference.
