News India Live, Digital Desk: CAT Exam 2025 Ever since the exam, only one question was running in my mind – “Friend, the paper is done, but what will be the actual marks?” After leaving the exam hall, we all estimate our marks, but the real picture becomes clear only after the ‘Answer Key’ comes.

So come on, buckle up now because that time has come. Indian Institute of Management (IIM) any time today Common Admission Test (CAT) 2025 Is going to release your ‘Provisional Answer Key’ and your ‘Response Sheet’.

Let us understand in simple words how to check it and what effect it will have on your result.

Keep an eye on the website

As always, IIM is available on its official website. iimcat.ac.in Will release the answer key only. According to the news, that link will be activated today itself from where you will be able to see which option you had ticked in the exam and what is its correct answer.

With this ‘Key’ your Response Sheet Will also come. This means you can match each question and calculate your probable score (Raw Score) weeks before the results are out.

The easiest way to download

Let’s not get too technical, let’s get straight to the point of what you need to do:

1. First of all go to the official website of CAT (iimcat.ac.in).
2. ‘Login’ button will appear there, click on it.
3. now yours User ID And Password Enter (same as given while filling the form).
4. As soon as the dashboard opens, you will see the tab of ‘Candidate Response’ or ‘Answer Key’.
5. Just click, and your answer key will be in front of you. Download and save it.

What if IIM makes a mistake?

Sometimes it happens that we think our answer is correct, but the answer key shows it to be wrong. There is no need to panic! IIM gives you a chance to express your views.

If you have doubt on any answer, you “Objection Raised” (Can file objection). A small window will open for this (only for a few days). To challenge each question, you may have to pay a small fee and have to provide valid arguments as evidence. If your statement turns out to be correct, it will be corrected in the final result.

Not to take tension!

See, this is only a ‘provisional’ i.e. raw answer key. The final result will come in January. Whether the score is low or high, there is no need to panic now because the percentile can also change after ‘Normalization’.
