New Delhi. There is great news for crores of food donors of the country under the Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM Kisan Yojana). After availing the benefit of the 21st instalment, farmers are now eagerly waiting for the next instalment. The Central Government is soon going to transfer Rs 2000 of the 22nd installment directly to the bank accounts of the farmers through DBT. If you are also a beneficiary of this scheme, then it is very important for you to know when the next installment will come and what are the tasks which if not completed on time, your money may get stuck.
When can the 22nd installment come?
Under PM Kisan Yojana, financial assistance of Rs 6000 is given annually to farmers in three equal installments (Rs 2000 per installment). As per the pattern of the scheme, the government releases the installment at an interval of every four months. Looking at the media reports and past records, it is likely that the 22nd installment of PM Kisan can be sent to the accounts of the farmers in the month of June 2026. However, its official date is yet to be announced by the government. As soon as the announcement is made, the money will directly reach the farmers’ accounts.
If you want to save money from getting stuck then do this immediately
Many times, farmers’ installments get stopped due to minor mistakes or lack of documentation. The government has tightened some rules to bring transparency in the scheme. If you want money to come into your account without any interruption, then you must ensure three things:
e-KYC: Farmers who have not done their e-KYC will not get the benefit of the installment. You can get this done through PM Kisan Portal or nearest CSC centre.
Aadhaar Seeding: Your bank account should be linked to Aadhaar card and Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) facility should be enabled in it.
Land Seeding: It is mandatory to get the documents of your agricultural land verified. If ‘Land Seeding – No’ is coming in the status, then immediately contact your accountant or agriculture department.

You can check from your smartphone sitting at home whether you will get the benefit of 22nd installment or not. For this, go to the official website of PM Kisan (pmkisan.gov.in). Click on the option of ‘Know Your Status’ there. After this, enter your registration number or mobile number and captcha code and submit. Your complete status will be open in front of you. If ‘Yes’ is written in front of E-KYC, Aadhaar Seeding and Land Seeding in your status, then you do not need to worry at all, your installment will come on time.
