Origin of the idol of Hanuman ji: The idol of Balaji installed in the temple was not made by any artist, rather it had appeared on its own in the Aravalli hills. There is a small hole on the left side of the idol from which a stream of water continuously flows, which is called ‘Balaji’s sweat’.
Court of Pretraj Sarkar: In one part of the temple there are statues of Pretaraj Sarkar and Bhairav Baba. People coming here can often be seen screaming or doing strange things. Devotees believe that the air here has the power to pull out negative energy from the body.
Puzzle for science: Many researchers have done research on the incidents of ‘exorcism’ that happen here, but no one has a scientific explanation as to how people come here and become completely healthy.
Those 5 rules of philosophy, following which is mandatory
Some strict rules have been made for the devotees visiting Mehandipur Balaji, if they are not followed then there is a possibility of ‘blame’:
burn one’s boats: The devotee should never look back while leaving the temple. The belief is that turning back can cause negative forces to go back home with you.
Eating rules: No food, drink or fragrant item is brought back home from within the temple premises or the limits of Mehandipur. Even the remaining water has to be left there.
Application and petition: Here ‘darkhaast’ and ‘arji’ have special significance. For this you have to buy special laddus and batashes from the temple shop, which are offered to Balaji twice (morning and evening).
Avoiding garlic-onion: Consumption of meat, liquor, garlic and onion is completely prohibited for at least a week before and after going for darshan.
Uniform distribution: The Prasad received here is not eaten itself, but is thrown backwards or left there.
