The land belongs to India and someone else should decide? India’s strongest reply so far on China-Pakistan Jugalbandhi

News India Live, Digital Desk: It is said that the neighbor cannot be changed, but when the neighbor does not stop his actions, then it becomes necessary to answer him. Recently, China and Pakistan together said some things which have further hardened India’s stance. The whole matter is related to ‘Shaksgam Valley’ and the controversial CPEC project.

What happened after all?
In fact, China and Pakistan issued a joint statement talking about promoting their so-called ‘Economic Corridor’ (CPEC). Now what is new in this is that it also mentions those parts which are actually part of India. Without any delay, India has said in clear words that “Enough is enough.” The statement from the Ministry of External Affairs has given a clear message to the world that India’s territory does not become someone else’s just because someone says it.

What is the real story of Shaksgam Valley?
It may seem to many people that it is just the name of a hilly area, but its history is quite complicated. In the year 1963, Pakistan illegally gave this valley to China as a ‘gift’. But the point is that the land given by Pakistan did not belong to it at all. That entire area is part of the Union Territory of Ladakh and has always been an integral part of India.

Why is India’s stance so strict?
India says that if you are coming to our areas and building roads or running any infrastructure project, then it is a direct violation of our sovereignty. Neither were we silent before nor will we accept it now. MEA (Ministry of External Affairs) has made it clear that if any CPEC project passes through India’s border or POK, it is illegal and India has every right to protect its land.

Now what next?
This tough stand of India has forced China and Pakistan to think that India will no longer take old matters and old occupations lightly. This is not just a diplomatic statement, but it has to be told to the world that India is in no mood to compromise even an iota on its integrity. Now it remains to be seen how these two countries, who are called ‘friends’ on the world’s biggest platforms, take this strong rebuke from India.
