News India Live, Digital Desk: Bihar Election 2025: The first and biggest phase of Bihar Assembly elections 2025 has started today i.e. on Thursday, 6th November. In this great festival of democracy, today voters are exercising their franchise on 121 assembly seats in 17 districts. Long queues of people are being seen at polling stations since morning, which shows their enthusiasm for democracy.

The fate of many ministers and big leaders is at stake.

This first phase election is important in many ways. The fate of many senior leaders and state government ministers is at stake. In this phase, a tough contest is being seen between the ruling NDA and the opposition grand alliance. Voting is being held today in important districts like Patna, Muzaffarpur, Saran, Bhojpur, Buxar, Nalanda and Begusarai, where the eyes of the entire state are fixed on the seats.

Strict security arrangements

The Election Commission has made tight security arrangements to ensure peaceful and fair voting. A large number of security forces, including central paramilitary forces, have been deployed at all polling stations. Special monitoring is being maintained at sensitive and vulnerable booths so that any untoward incident can be prevented. Special arrangements have also been made at polling stations for the convenience of voters.

Voting will continue till evening, eyes on voting percentage

Voting began at 7 am and will continue till 6 pm. Since morning, huge enthusiasm is being seen among voters, especially women and youth, in both urban and rural areas. However, the final figures of voting percentage will be known only after the voting ends in the evening.

This first phase of voting will not only decide the fate of the candidates but will also decide on which side the camel of Bihar politics will sit. This phase will also serve to create a political atmosphere for the further phases. Now all eyes are on the upcoming phases and the day of counting.
