India continued their T20 series winning streak in Australia by winning the five-match T20 series 2-1. With this, Team India won the five-match series 2-1 and maintained its record of never losing a T20 series by winning the fifth consecutive T20 series in Australia. Moreover, Team India has not lost any T20 series since 2023. During this period, Team India won nine bilateral series, out of which one was a draw. The Indian team also won the T20 World Cup and Asia Cup titles.
This win is also special for captain Suryakumar Yadav and coach Gautam Gambhir as Team India bounced back from being behind in the series with two consecutive wins, which ultimately proved to be the scoreline.
