This painful incident is from Habibpur police station area of Bhagalpur. Here 40 -year -old Dilip Mandal, who was a mason by profession, lived with his family. On Thursday, there was some controversy with the neighbors over the watering on the government tap near his house. The matter was so modest that no one could think that its consequences would be so dreadful.
On seeing this, there was an argument and the neighborhood bullies attacked Dileep with sticks. He beat Dileep so brutally that he died on the spot. By the time someone could understand something or to save them, it was too late.
People ran away after hearing screams, accused absconding
Hearing the sound of fighting and screaming, when the people around reached the spot, Dileep was found lying on the blood-soaked ground. After executing the incident, all the accused escaped from the spot. The local people immediately informed the police. The police reached the spot and took the body in possession and sent it for postmortem.
Dilip Mandal has left behind his wife and two small children crying. Since this incident, the family is in a weeping condition.
