Stones pelted at the convoy of former Maharashtra MP and BJP leader Nilesh Rane

The convoy of BJP leader and former MP Nilesh Rane has been attacked in Ratnagiri, Maharashtra. According to reports, stones were pelted at the car of former MP Nilesh Rane, following which a clash broke out between BJP and Shiv Sena (UBT) workers in Ratnagiri, Maharashtra. The uproar increased so much that later the police had to fire tear gas shells to control the situation.

How did the incident happen?

Union Minister Narayan Rane's son Nilesh Rane was on his way to address a rally in Guhagar when the incident occurred near Patpanhale College, an official said. According to the information, supporters of Rane and Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Bhaskar Jadhav clashed with each other. Police force was also sent to control the clash between supporters of Nilesh Rane and Bhaskar Jadhav. Supporters of both the parties reached the spot in large numbers. Tear gas shells had to be fired to bring the situation back to normal in the area. It is being told that when Nilesh Rane was going to attend a public meeting, someone pelted stones at his car. According to an official of Guhagarh police station, BJP workers gathered at the spot, following which a clash broke out between workers of both the parties. Many workers have been injured. Many vehicles were damaged in stone pelting.

Nilesh is the son of Narayan Rane

Nilesh Rane is a former MP and BJP leader. He is the elder son of Union Minister Narayan Rane. Nilesh Rane is also the brother of BJP MLA Nitesh Rane. Reacting to this incident, State Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has said that the anger of the opposition is clearly visible. He has said that strict action will be taken against the culprits in the Chiplun incident. It is being told that there are already political differences between senior BJP leader Narayan Rane and Shiv Sena UBT MLA Bhaskar Jadhav.
