Mumbai: There is an increase in cases of Corona Virus (Kovid-19) once again in Maharashtra, which has increased the concern of health officials. In particular, the state government and the health departments have become more alert after the new sub-workers KP.2 surfaced. In view of this, the State Health Services Commissionerate has issued a special advisory for the elderly, pregnant women, children and persons suffering from any disease.

New cases and sub-students knock:

In the last few days, there has been a continuous increase in the cases of Kovid-19 in Maharashtra. On Sunday, 50 new cases of Korona were reported in the state, after which the number of active cases has reached around 300. This new sub-program of Corona is a form of KP.2, JN.1 of Omikron, which is considered more infectious. However, experts say that it is less likely to cause serious illness, but it is necessary to take care.

Health Department Advisory:

The State Health Department has issued the following guidelines to prevent the spread of infection and protect sensitive groups:

  • Wear masks in crowded places: It is advisable to use masks in public places, markets, or any place where more people are deposited.

  • Wash hands again and again: The emphasis is on regular hand washing or using alcohol-based sanitizer with soap and water.

  • Keep social distance: It is important to maintain a safe distance from each other, especially from those who have symptoms like cold or flu.

  • Avoid touching the eye, nose and mouth: Touching the face with dirty hands can increase the risk of infection.

  • Take care while coughing and sneezing: Cover the mouth and nose with a handkerchief or tissue while coughing or sneezing.

  • Ensure good ventilation: Maintain proper ventilation at homes and workplaces so that fresh air can be transmitted.

  • Complete vaccination: Those who have not yet taken all the doses of the vaccine or booster dose have been advised to get vaccinated as soon as possible.

  • Check on the symptoms: If you feel symptoms such as fever, cough, sore throat or body pain, immediately isolate yourself and get the Kovid-19 checked.

  • Contact the doctor: If a person is found positive or serious symptoms develop, a doctor should be consulted immediately.

Caution only rescue:

Health officials say there is no need to panic, but it is extremely important to take vigilance and caution. By following the instructions given in the advisory, a person can protect not only himself but also the people around him from this infection. This advisory is especially important for those whose immunity may be reduced, such as elderly, pregnant women, children and a person already suffering from a serious disease.
