‘SP could not defeat BJP even after doing three tricks’, Deputy CM Keshav Maurya’s direct attack on Akhilesh Yadav; Claim of hat-trick in 2027

As the buzz of assembly elections 2027 intensifies in the political corridors of Uttar Pradesh, the war of words between the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party and the Samajwadi Party has reached its peak. After many leaders including former minister Professor Ramashray Kushwaha joined SP, State Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya has launched a direct and sharp political attack on SP chief Akhilesh Yadav. While sharing the post on the social media platform ‘X’ (formerly Twitter), the Deputy CM has termed Akhilesh Yadav’s strategy, alliance and caste equations as a complete failure.

Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya, while reminding the Samajwadi Party of the 2022 assembly elections, wrote that at that time the SP had done various ‘three tricks’ to gain power. He had formed an alliance with regional parties like Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) and Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP) and also included many influential leaders in his party.

Maurya sarcastically said that despite all the manipulations and laying of caste chessboard, SP failed to win the trust of the people and could not oust BJP from power. In that election, all the social, political and mathematical equations of SP were left in vain.

Making a strong attack on the leadership of Samajwadi Party, the Deputy Chief Minister said that SP neither has any clear vision for the development of the state nor is there any credible leadership left among the people. The people of Uttar Pradesh have now completely lost trust in the Samajwadi Party.

Keshav Prasad Maurya alleged that Akhilesh Yadav is once again trying to cross the electoral hurdle only with the help of caste mobilization and hollow slogans. But the people of the state are not going to be misled by them and this time also the caste based tactics of SP will prove to be a complete failure.

Taking on Akhilesh Yadav, the Deputy Chief Minister said that the overall thing is that none of the maneuvers of ‘SP Bahadur’ Akhilesh Yadav are going to work this time too. He will not be able to turn the tables on Bharatiya Janata Party even for the third time.

Maurya claimed that on the strength of the development work, good governance and public-welfare policies of the double engine government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, BJP will score a historic hat-trick of victory in the 2027 elections and the lotus will once again bloom with an absolute majority in the state.

Political analysts believe that BJP has adopted an aggressive stance to destroy the equations being created by the opposition parties by breaking the ‘PDA’ (Backward, Dalit, Minority) formula and the leaders of other parties. This direct attack by Keshav Prasad Maurya indicates that in the coming days, the electoral contest between caste equations versus BJP’s model of development and good governance in the politics of Uttar Pradesh is going to become more interesting and intense.
