News India Live, Digital Desk: The Meteorological Department has issued a big warning for the people of Jharkhand. Now the weather pattern is going to change completely in many parts of the state, which has been facing severe heat and heat wave for the last several days. According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), due to the influence of moist winds coming from the Bay of Bengal, there will be thunderstorms in various districts of Jharkhand in the next Heavy rain with thunder, hailstorm and lightning for four days. There is a strong possibility. The Meteorological Department has issued ‘Yellow’ and ‘Orange’ alerts for this.

According to Meteorological Center Ranchi, pre-monsoon activities will pick up pace in the state:

Strong winds: During rains, strong winds (Gusto Winds) can blow at a speed of 40 to 50 kilometers per hour.

Hail warning: Hail may occur at some places in the north-eastern and central parts of the state (especially Ranchi, Bokaro, Hazaribagh and Gumla), due to which there is a possibility of damage to crops.

Threat of lightning: The Meteorological Department has expressed maximum concern regarding thunderstorms. Farmers and people working in the open have been advised to take special precautions.

The biggest impact will be seen in these districts

According to the report of the Meteorological Department, the most severe form of weather can be seen in East Singhbhum, West Singhbhum, Seraikela-Kharsawan, Simdega, Ranchi, Khunti, Lohardaga and Gumla districts of Jharkhand. Strong winds with scattered rain are also expected in Deoghar, Dumka and Godda of Santhal Pargana.

There will be relief from heat, but problems will increase

Rain and hailstorm are expected to drop the temperature by 3 to 5 degrees Celsius, which will provide relief to people suffering from the scorching heat. However, due to lightning and storm, power supply may be disrupted and kutcha houses may get damaged.

Meteorological Department’s safety advisory:

Be careful during thunderstorms: Do not take shelter under trees during thunder or lightning. Stay inside safe pucca houses.

Advice for farmers: Keep the harvested crops in safe places and avoid going to the fields during hailstorm.

Distance from electrical equipment: Stay away from electric poles and tall towers in bad weather.
