Mumbai: A massive fire broke out in an apartment on the seventh floor of a fifteen-storey high-rise building in Bandra West on Monday midnight. Famous Bollywood playback singer Shaan also has a flat on the eleventh floor of this tall building. In this fire incident, an 80-year-old man was admitted to the hospital due to difficulty in breathing. Nine people trapped in the fire were rescued.
The incident took place around 1.45 pm on Monday in a high-rise building in Fortune Enclave in Bandra West. In which a fire broke out in a flat on the seventh floor.
Famous Bollywood singer Shaan had a flat on the eleventh floor of this building. Shaan was at home with his family at the time of the fire incident. As soon as information about the fire was received, Shaan’s entire family went to the fifteenth floor and waited for the fire department. However, this fire was limited to the seventh rosary. However, as soon as the fire incident occurred, an atmosphere of fear was created in the entire building.
As soon as information about the fire incident was received, 10 firefighters and a team of police and other concerned agencies immediately reached the spot.
After this, the fire department team conducted a rescue operation and evacuated the entire building. Further, while checking the stairs to check that no one was left inside, 80-year-old Seera Parya was found unconscious near the stairs leading up.
This old man was having trouble breathing. Therefore, he was immediately admitted to the hospital for treatment. The fire department team rescued nine people, including eight women, who were trapped in the building during the fire.
The fire was brought under control after two hours of effort. There were no casualties in this fire incident. The exact cause of fire in this incident is not yet known. The flat situated on the seventh floor has been badly damaged by the fire.
