In today’s digital age, PAN and Aadhaar cards are the two most important identity and financial documents. It has become mandatory to link these two to avail financial transactions, tax filing and various government schemes. In addition, citizens who do not have an Aadhaar card can easily get it made.     • Official website of Income Tax Department (www.incometax.gov.in) Go on.

    • After the required details are verified, your PAN will be linked to Aadhaar.

  2. Through SMS:

    • Send SMS in a particular format from your mobile: UIDPANAadhaar number of 12 digitsPAN number of 10 digits.


    • Send this SMS to 567678 or 9212777000.

    • You will get a confirmation message that your Aadhaar is linked to PAN.

How to Apply for Aadhaar Card:

Indian citizens who do not yet have an Aadhaar card can make their Aadhaar card by following these easy steps:

  1. Go to Aadhaar Nomination Center: Find the Aadhaar Enrollment Center (Aadhaar Enrollment Center). You can find your close center by visiting UIDAI’s website (uidai.gov.in).

  2. Fill the application form: Get the Aadhaar enrollment form and fill it correctly. All the information will have to be filled in the form, your name, address, date of birth etc.

  3. Submit the document: Submit necessary documents such as identity proof (such as passport, voter ID, driving license) and address of the address (eg passport, bank statement, ration card).

  4. Biometric information: Your biometric data (fingers, iris scans and photos) will be collected at the center.

  5. Enrollment slip: After depositing the form and entering biometrics, you will get an enrollment slip, which will have your enrollment number (EID).

  6. Download Aadhaar: Within a few weeks, your Aadhaar card will be sent by post to your registered address, or you can download e-Aadhaar from UIDAI’s website using the enrollment number.
