There was flat trading in Indian stock markets today i.e. Monday, November 11. However, the market opened with a decline in the morning. Today the Sensex closed at 79,496 with a gain of 9 points. Nifty fell by 6 points and closed above the level of 24,141. Whereas small cap fell by 627 points and closed at 54,286. Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 18 declined and 12 gained. Out of 50 Nifty stocks, 30 declined and 19 gained. At the same time, there was no change in one share.

On Monday, shares of 18 out of 30 Sensex companies closed in the red zone and shares of the remaining 12 companies closed in the green zone. Out of 50 stocks of Nifty 50, 30 companies closed in the red with losses and 19 companies closed in the green with gains. While shares of one company closed unchanged.

Earlier on Friday i.e. 8th November, a decline was seen in the stock market. Sensex fell 55 points to close at 79,486. Nifty also fell 51 points and closed at 24,148.
