New Delhi: Today, 16 April 2026, is a very important day for parents who are dreaming of admission of their children in Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS). The 2nd Provisional Selection List for admission to Bal Vatika (I, II, III) and Class 1 for the academic session 2026-27 is being released today. For the seats left vacant after the first list, this list has brought a new ray of hope for those families who were in the waiting list.

How to check selection list? (Step-by-Step Guide)

Parents can check their child’s result online sitting at home. For this follow the steps given below:

Visit the portal: First of all special admission portal of KVS admission.kvs.gov.in Go to.

Lottery Result: on the homepage ‘Check Lottery Result’ Click on the link.

Fill details: Select your State and the particular Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV) where you applied.

Search: As soon as the ‘Search’ button is pressed, the selected children PDF list Will appear on the screen. You can search the name by baby name or ‘Application Code’.

Important Documents for admission

If your child’s name has appeared in the second list, then you should reach school without any delay. Document Verification The process will have to be completed. Please carry the following documents (original and photocopy) with you:

Birth Certificate: Mandatory to confirm the age of the child.

Address proof: Aadhar Card, Electricity Bill or Rent Agreement.

Passport size photo: Recent photos of the child.

Category Certificate: If you have applied from SC/ST/OBC/EWS or BPL quota.
