Prime Minister Modi indicated to pass the Uniform Civil Code after passing the Waqf Act

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated several schemes during the visit to Hisar in Haryana and addressed a public meeting, indicating the implementation of the Uniform Civil Code after Waqf. After this, the discussion has also intensified that UCC will come after Waqf. During this time, he put his side on the Waqf Act and attacked the Congress fiercely on opposing it.

He said that the Congress has turned the Constitution into a weapon to grab power. Whenever the Congress felt that power was slipping from its hand, it crushed the constitution in a systematic manner. The spirit of the Constitution clearly states that there should be a uniform civil code for every citizen, which I call the secular civil code. The Congress never implemented the Uniform Civil Code of Conduct. By doing so, he weakened the constitutional spirit. We have implemented the Uniform Civil Code of Conduct in Uttarakhand, but the Congress is opposing it. He further said that the Waqf Board has millions of hectares of land, but it has not been used properly for the poor and needy. He said that the Congress amended the Waqf Act 2013 to please radical Muslims. This change was made to win the election a few months ago. This was a law that weakened the constitution.

Not only this, PM Modi even said that if the Congress has so much love with Muslims, then why has he not made any Muslim a party president yet? Why don’t they give half the tickets to Muslims in that election?

Prime Minister Modi said that the Congress had thrown the constitution into the cemetery during the Emergency. The basic spirit of the Constitution is of equal civil law for all, but the Congress never worked on it. If I work on it, the Congress will object to this.

Muslim youths make a living by making punctures: Modi

Modi’s remarks, which raised the issue of Waqf in the Haryana Legislative Assembly, has created controversy. Modi claimed that Muslim youth spend their lives in repairing bicycles, but if Waqf’s lands had been used in honest and proper way, then Modi would not have to spend his life to repair bicycles. Modi said that millions of acres of land is lying in the name of Waqf in the country. This land was to be used for the benefit of poor, destitute women and Muslim children, but it was not done. If this land had been used honestly, the situation of Muslim youth would have been different.
