News India Live, Digital Desk: A video of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Amar Kishore Kashyap has gone viral with a woman at the party’s district office in Gonda. The party has allegedly issued a show cause notice to them, seeking written clarification within a week.
According to officials, this incident The BJP was captured in CCTV cameras installed in the district office. The footage is seen climbing stairs with the head woman of the Gonda unit. After this, Kashyap is seen hugging the woman and doing wrong acts with her and then climbing the stairs. The woman is said to be a BJP worker.

However, Kashyap has allegedly denied all the allegations and claimed that it is a trap laid by the opposition to discredit his public image. She said that she was only trying to help the party worker, as she was feeling unwell. According to him, the video has been incorrectly introduced with the intention of tarnishing his reputation.
He said, “The woman party seen in the video is a worker. That day she was ill and asked for a place to rest. I took her to the office. She started getting dizzy while climbing the stairs and I caught her to support her. Footage is being misused to defame me.”
A party worker described the video clip as “embarrassing” and filed a formal complaint before the BJP leadership.
According to PTI report, BJP state general secretary Govind Narayan Shukla has issued a show cause notice to Kashyap. The notice stated, “The video broadcast on social media has revealed such a behavior which negatively impacts the party’s reputation and falls under the category of indiscipline.”
It said, “According to the instructions of the state president, you are asked to present a written explanation in the BJP state office within seven days. Strict disciplinary action will be taken if not given satisfactory answers within the stipulated time.
