Priyanka was not alone, rather she was the leader of an entire gang. The job of this gang was to target innocent unemployed youth. These people used to dream of providing jobs to boys and girls in big government departments like Secretariat, Health Department and Education Department.
Their method was so sure that anyone could easily fall into the trap. These people also used to make appointment letters and ID cards that looked exactly like the original. When the victim was completely trapped in their trap, they would extort huge amount of money from him in the name of job. In many cases, they have defrauded each person of Rs 8 to 10 lakh. As soon as the money came into hand, these people would switch off their phones and disappear.
There was terror not in one or two but in seven districts
Priyanka’s network was not limited to Lucknow only. Apart from Lucknow, many cases of fraud were registered against him in districts like Rae Bareli, Bahraich, Barabanki, Sitapur, Gonda and Ayodhya. She kept changing her location constantly, due to which the police had to struggle a lot to catch her.
How did you get caught?
The police was searching for Priyanka and her gang for a long time. Gomti Nagar extension police got the news from the informer that Priyanka was hiding in Madhuban Bapudham area. As soon as the news was received, the police laid a trap without any delay and arrested him.
Priyanka’s arrest is a big success for the police. Now the police has started searching for his remaining associates and it is expected that soon this entire gang will be exposed.
