The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has arrested CRPF jawan Moti Ram Jat from Delhi. It has been reported that sensitive information was provided to Pakistani intelligence officials. Information was being provided since 2023. In return, he was getting money from Pakistani intelligence officials. Meanwhile, he has been detained from Delhi and the Patiala House Court has sent the accused to custody till 6 June.

He has been sent from Pakistan in many different ways. This transaction was mostly done through hawala. According to investigative agencies, the soldiers were already on the target of ISI. For this reason, he was included in the interrogation by luring money and many secret information were obtained from him. This information can become a danger for the country. The NIA said that preliminary investigation has revealed that he had been doing this act of treason since 2023.
