Pakistan will again get trapped in FATF’s ‘grey list’, India will launch a big siege with the evidence of ‘Operation Vermillion’

India has intensified its siege of Pakistan on the global front against terrorism. Difficulties are going to increase for Pakistan in the next meeting of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) to be held in October. India has many such strong evidences, which are enough to once again push Pakistan into the international ‘grey list’. New Delhi plans to present videos and other sensitive evidence related to ‘Operation Sindoor’ before FATF to expose Pakistan, which proves that terrorist organizations still enjoy government patronage in Pakistan.

Videos of ‘Operation Sindoor’ will be the biggest weapon against Pakistan

During ‘Operation Sindoor’ conducted by India, many such videos had come to light in which top officials of Pakistani army and intelligence agencies were seen attending terrorist funerals. These videos were quite popular on social media and now India will use them as a diplomatic weapon in the FATF plenary meeting. This evidence is clear proof that Pakistan’s ‘state actors’ are not only harboring terrorists but are also directly involved in their activities.

India’s aggressive diplomacy and global pressure

India’s stance is expected to be very aggressive in this FATF meeting. India’s position has further strengthened after Vivek Aggarwal, Secretary in the Ministry of Culture, was appointed Vice President of FATF. India’s main agenda is to force Pakistan to rein in the ‘non-state actors’ thriving on its soil and completely stop the misuse of its financial system for terror funding.

Return to ‘Grey List’: Big threat to Pakistan’s crumbling economy

Pakistan was removed from the ‘grey list’ in October 2022 on the promise of completing a 34-point action plan. If India succeeds in getting Pakistan included in the ‘grey list’ again through its evidence, then it will become impossible for Islamabad to get loans or funds from international financial institutions. This will be no less than a big blow for Pakistan, which is already struggling with huge economic crisis and poverty. Even though Pakistan is trying to portray itself as a ‘peacemaker’ in front of the world, the stigma of terrorism on it is becoming deeper due to the direct protection it is getting from terrorist organizations.
