Now traveling will become even easier in Uttar Pradesh, a new expressway is going to be built

The Uttar Pradesh government is continuously working to connect the state with every part of the country. Special emphasis is being laid on laying the road network, and this is the reason why today UP has become the state with the highest number of expressways in the country. Now another new link expressway is going to be built in this connection, which will make the journey even faster and comfortable.

This new expressway will be approximately 90 kilometers long. But its biggest feature is its cost. You will be surprised to know that this is going to be one of the most expensive expressways of Uttar Pradesh. A budget of about Rs 7500 crore has been kept to build it. That means, it will cost around Rs 82 crore to build one kilometer of road!

Why is this expressway so expensive?

Now you must be wondering what is so special about this expressway that it is becoming so expensive. Well, let us tell you:

• Excellent arrangement for drainage: To ensure that rain or flood water does not accumulate on the road, a very modern drainage system will be installed in it.
• Big bridges: To ensure uninterrupted flow of traffic, 9 major bridges and 29 other major structures will be built.
• Animal protection: To prevent any animal from suddenly coming on the expressway, wire fencing will be installed on the sides, so that the journey remains safe.
• Limited access: To ensure that no vehicle can enter the expressway from anywhere, there will be entry and exit points at only a few places. This will not cause unnecessary traffic.
• Service Road Facility: A service road will also be built along the expressway for the commuting of nearby villagers and local people.

Due to all these facilities and security arrangements, it is costing more to build it.

Who will benefit most?

This new expressway is connected to the two largest expressways of Uttar Pradesh – Ganga Expressway And Agra-Lucknow Expressway – will connect together. Till now there was no direct and fast route between these two, due to which people used to waste a lot of time.

With the construction of this expressway, it will become very easy to travel between Delhi, Noida, Agra, Lucknow and Prayagraj. Also, people going to Eastern Uttar Pradesh and Bihar will also benefit a lot. Their journey will be faster than ever before.

New doors of employment will open

This project will not only make travel easier but will also bring employment to thousands of people. When the work worth Rs 7500 crore starts, engineers, laborers and artisans will be required to build it. And when the expressway is ready, people will still get work at toll, service roads and other places.
