‘No compromise on security of Gulf countries’: Marco Rubio breaks silence on peace talks with Iran during UAE visit

During this, he has given a message in clear words that America will not jeopardize the security of its allies under any circumstances. Mission to allay allies’ fears Rubio reiterated America’s commitment during a meeting with UAE leader Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan in Abu Dhabi. The visit comes on the heels of high-level talks between US and Iran negotiators in Switzerland. On reports of toll being collected from ships in the Strait of Hormuz, Trump clarified on ‘Truth Social’ that Iran has assured him that no such fee is being charged.
