This year Nautapa is going to start from 25th May and last till 2nd June 2026. During these nine days of Nautapa, every morning after waking up Laddu Gopal, he should be bathed with lukewarm or normal temperature water.
Soft Water: Adding a little rose water, sandalwood or Ganga water to Thakur ji’s bathing water is considered very auspicious and gives him coolness.

Avoiding hot water: Even by mistake, do not give heated water to Thakur ji in the afternoon for drinking or bathing. Keep changing their drinking water at regular intervals and use water from a jug or pot.
Ban on heavy clothes: Never make them wear tight, heavy or woolen clothes.
choose location: During the afternoon, do not keep Laddu Gopal’s throne or cradle in a place exposed to direct sunlight or hot air. Keep their room or surrounding environment cool and ventilated through fan, cooler or shade.
