Bhopal, 7 September (HS). School Education Minister and Minister in charge of Katni district Uday Pratap Singh, Minister of State for Animal Husbandry and Dairy Development Lakhan Patel and BJP State President and Khajuraho MP VD Sharma reached his native village Harduakala on Saturday to pay tribute to 24-year-old Pradeep Patel, a soldier who was martyred in a road accident in Pakyong, Sikkim on Thursday, 5 September. Minister in charge Uday Pratap Singh directed the district administration officials to name the government secondary school of village Harduakala after Balidani Patel and to install a statue and build a playground to keep the memories of the martyr intact in the village. He informed that Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has today announced to provide Samman Nidhi of one crore rupees for the bereaved family.
Minister in charge Singh, State Minister Patel, MP V.D. Sharma, MLA Sanjay Satyendra Pathak, MLA Pranay Prabhat Pandey, MLA Dhirendra Bahadur Singh, Collector and SP participated in the last journey of martyr Pradeep. The martyr's body wrapped in the tricolor was given a guard of honor. The last farewell was given with state honors. A large number of villagers bid farewell to martyr Pradeep Patel with moist eyes during his last journey. Before this, the mortal remains of martyr soldier Pradeep Patel reached his native village Harduakala, Tehsil Vijay Raghavgarh at 4:30 pm on Saturday via Katni in an army-equipped hearse.
