
Today, on the third day of his stay in Prayagraj district, Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Government, Shri Keshav Prasad Maurya benefited the beneficiaries of various public welfare schemes of the state government and encouraged the women of self-help groups in a grand program organized in the development block Karchana. During the program, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Maurya distributed the symbolic keys of their houses to the beneficiaries under the Mukhyamantri Awas Yojana. These included Mr. Sanjay Kumar, son of Mr. Nandu Ram (Barsahara) and Mrs. Priyanka, wife of Mr. Suggan (Barsahara).
In the same sequence, under the Swachh Bharat Mission (Rural), the beneficiaries of the toilet scheme, Mrs. Hemalatinisha, wife of Mr. Kallu (Barsahara), Mrs. Ruksana Begum, wife of Mr. Imran (Barsahara) and Mrs. Usha, wife of Mr. Ramchandra were also provided the benefits of the scheme. The Deputy Chief Minister also gave the benefits of the scheme to Mrs. Nanki, wife of Mr. Hiralal (Barsahara), the beneficiary of old age pension under social security pension schemes and the beneficiary of destitute women pension, Mrs. Geeta Devi, wife of Late Mr. Sitaram (Barsahara) was honored with a certificate.
In the program, the didis of self-help groups who did excellent work under the National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM) were honored with certificates. Malti Devi (sewing art) among those honored, Manju Devi (Embroidery Art), Jaykali (Organic Farming – Single Bridge) and Neel Devi (IPRP, Udva) was prominent.
