Money from government schemes will come directly into the accounts of the poor, Prime Minister launches PM-Suraj portal

Bhopal, March 13 (HS). The money from the schemes of the Government of India and other schemes will reach directly into the accounts of the poor. Now there will be no middleman, no commission taker and no poor person will need to run around for recommendations. Financial assistance will be provided to people in deprived communities through PM-Suraj portal. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday launched the Social Upliftment and Employment-Based Public Welfare (PM-SURJ) portal. On this occasion he said that the people of the country are members of my family. Citizens have also started saying that we are Modi's family. The government has been working to bring positive changes in the lives of citizens for the last 10 years. Women respect and empowerment is part of our resolve. Beneficiaries from about 525 districts of the country joined the program virtually. Beneficiaries of many schemes were benefited.

The Prime Minister said that the aim is to make India developed by the year 2047. We are moving forward in this direction. He said that in earlier years the importance of the deprived class was not understood. A corrupted mentality had developed. That mental wall has now been broken. Many generations of poor people spent their lives without basic facilities. The principle of 'Sabka Saath-Sabka Vikas' is being implemented since the year 2014. The government is reaching out to the people. There was a time when it was difficult to get ration. People belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Backward Classes were marginalized. Now all those who were not cared for before are being cared for. In the last 10 years, respect has also been given to the underprivileged. Gas stove has been provided under Ayushman Card, Ujjwala Scheme. Scholarships and fellowships have been increased. The benefits of Mudra Yojana have been given to the needy. The work of development of Panch Teerths associated with Dr. Ambedkar has been done.

The Prime Minister said that PPE kits are being given to sewer and septic tank workers today. Successful startups of Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes are being given benefits under the Venture Capital Fund Scheme/Ambedkar Social Innovation Incubation Mission. Today I also got an opportunity to discuss with such beneficiaries. He said that now the entire country is witnessing the welfare of the deprived and backward society. People from Scheduled Castes and Tribes have been appointed as the President, the highest post of the country. An assistance amount of Rs 720 crore has been sent directly to the bank accounts of one lakh underprivileged beneficiaries. Today more than 500 districts are connected. This is the benefit of providing money directly to the poor with just one click in our government.

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav participated in this program online from Dhar. On this occasion, the Chief Minister said that Prime Minister Modi deserves congratulations. They also pay attention to minute details from the point of view of public welfare. He has taken important steps in the interest of the sanitation workers who keep the entire population clean and healthy. They have also been provided Ayushman card. The government is trying to ensure that cleaning workers in urban bodies get both security and respect. The new portal will provide integrated support to the schemes run for the dignity, employment and welfare of the weaker sections. Loan cases will be approved within a day.

He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, India has become an important economy of the world. Countries like England, which once kept India dependent, now want friendship with us. Many heads of state feel honored to meet Prime Minister Modi. In the last ten years, India has made a special place due to the developmental work done under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi. When Modi took the pledge of cleanliness, the picture of the entire country changed. Indore received the cleanest city award seven times in Madhya Pradesh. Madhya Pradesh has also received the award twice.

The Chief Minister said that important work is being done for the respect of the tribal class in the country. A new university is being started in Khargone in the name of Tantya Mama. There was a time when our revolutionaries used to get humiliated. After independence, representatives of Scheduled Tribes were not given respect. Today Murmu of this class is working as the President of the country. He said that there were brave fighters in Dhar district also. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav provided benefits to the beneficiaries under various schemes.
