Monarchy demands in Nepal caught emphasis, curfew after violent demonstrations, army deployed


The situation has been continuously deteriorating in Nepal for the last few days. On Saturday, monarchy supporters attacked the offices of several political parties, killing at least 2 people. Seeing the situation uncontrollable, curfew was imposed in Kathmandu and the government ordered the deployment of the army. The protesters have given a week -long ultimatum to the government and demanded the restoration of the monarchy and to declare Nepal a Hindu nation.
