Mayawati cornered the opposition alliance and BJP, made a big attack on women’s reservation

News India Live, Digital Desk: Bahujan Samaj Party supremo Mayawati, who is trying to strengthen her presence in the politics of Uttar Pradesh, has once again attacked the opposition parties and the ruling BJP at the Centre. Mayawati compared Congress to a ‘chameleon’ and alleged that this party changes colors only for power. Besides, taking on SP and BJP, he also raised serious questions on the current form of Women Reservation Bill.

‘Congress changes colors for power’

Taking aim at Congress, Mayawati said that it is a party which has always exploited Dalits, backward classes and minorities. Calling Congress a ‘chameleon’, he said that as elections approach, Congress makes big promises, but after coming to power, it goes back on its promises. The BSP chief cautioned that the public need not fall into the trap of Congress as its real face has always been anti-people.

Mayawati’s ‘tough’ stance on women’s reservation

Mayawati put both the central government and the opposition in the dock regarding the Women’s Reservation Bill. He said:

Quota within quota: Mayawati reiterated that until women’s reservation Separate quota for SC, ST and OBC women Unless this is ensured, this bill is incomplete.

Politics of show: He alleged that BJP and Congress together want to benefit only the upper class women, while women from the deprived sections of the society are being marginalised.

Mayawati also lashed out at SP and BJP

Describing Samajwadi Party and BJP as two sides of the same coin, Mayawati said:

Attack on SP: He said that there has always been an atmosphere of anarchy in the Samajwadi Party governments and they are limited only to caste-specific politics.

BJP surrounded: Questioning the policies of the Centre, he said that the common people are suffering from inflation and unemployment, but the government is doing politics only on the basis of religion and sentiments.

BSP’s message of ‘walk alone’

In her address, Mayawati once again made it clear that BSP is committed to fighting the elections on its own and following the policy of Sarvajan Hitay, Sarvajan Sukhay. He directed the party workers to go from village to village to tell people the truth about these parties and remind them of the ‘rule of law’ during the BSP rule.
