Maruti Suzuki New Dezire: The country's largest carmaker Maruti Suzuki India on Monday launched the latest version (all-new-Dezire) of its compact sedan Dezire.
The new Dezire is priced between Rs 6.79 lakh and Rs 10.14 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The company says that it will cater to the needs of all customer segments to maintain its leading share in the domestic market.
On the launch of the new Dezire, which is reportedly Nearly 30 lakh units have been sold, Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) MD and CEO Hisashi Takeuchi said the SUV segment has seen growth, but other segments are also important for the company. The K Dezire has been a global success for the company due to its high market share and has sold nearly three million units across various markets to date. Takeuchi said that the company has invested about Rs 1,000 crore on the development of this model.

Maruti Suzuki claims a mileage of 24.79 kmpl for the new standard Dezire, 25.71 kmpl for the automatic Dezire and 33.73 kmpl for the CNG variant.
