Material
- Medium-sized cauliflower-5-6
- Onion – 2 medium, finely chopped
- Garlic-5-6 petals (finely chopped)
- Ginger – 1/2 inch piece (finely chopped)
- Peanut butter – 2 tablespoons
- Drought Coconut – 2 tablespoons
- Garam Masala – 1/2 teaspoon
- Coriander powder – 1 tsp
- Cumin Powder – 1/2 teaspoon
- Turmeric – 1/2 teaspoon
- Chilli powder – 1 tsp (as per taste)
- salt to taste
- Tamarind-jaggery paste-2 tablespoons
- Oil-3-4 tablespoons
Action
- For this, first peel the gourd and remove the seed by applying a long incision in it.
- Apply salt on it and keep it for 30-40 minutes.
- Then wash it in water and boil it lightly or filter it well in water.
- Heat 1-2 tablespoons of oil in a pan.
- Add garlic, ginger and onion.
- When the onion becomes brown, add coriander powder, cumin powder, turmeric, chilli powder, salt and garam masala.
- Then add peanut butter, coconut and tamarind pulp and mix until the mixture becomes smooth.
- Turn off the heat and let the spices cool slightly.
- Fill the prepared spice in each Karala.
- Heat some oil in a pan and fry the curry leaves on low flame by applying a lid.
- Keep turning it in between so that Kharpouses are roasted from all sides.
- Your stuffed kail will be ready in 10-15 minutes.
- The taste of stuffed bitter gourd looks even better when you eat with poli, paratha or rice.
- If you want to reduce bitterness further, you can also use bitter gourd in the spices.
