Material
- Shrimp – 250 grams (cleaned)
- Lemon juice – 1 tbsp
- Turmeric – 4 teaspoons
- salt to taste
- Ginger-garlic paste-1 tbsp
- Red chili powder – 1½ tsp
- Turmeric – 4 teaspoons
- Coriander powder – 1 tsp
- Cumin Powder – ½ tsp
- Amchur powder (optional) – ½ tsp
- Besanpeeth – 2 tablespoons
- Rice flour – 1 tbsp
- Egg – 1 (beaten)
- salt to taste
- Oil – to fry
Action
- To make the shrimp koliwada, first wash the shrimp thoroughly and remove its peels.
- Next, sprinkle lemon juice, turmeric and salt on the cleaned shrimp and keep separate for 10–15 minutes.
- Add ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric, coriander-jeera powder, amchur, gram flour, rice flour, salt and whip in a bowl.
- Add egg to it and mix until it becomes smooth.
- If necessary, add 1-2 tablespoons of water and knead a little hard dough.
- Add marinated meltings to the spicy mixture and mix well.
- Heat the oil in a pan and fry the shrimp on medium flame till it crisps.
- To extract excess oil, take it out on the absorbed paper.
- Serve the hot shrimp with coriander, lemon and mint sauce, this is a great option as a starter.
