News India Live, Digital Desk: A person spends day and night in pursuit of a government job, and when he gets success, that moment is the most special. But for Nusrat Parveen, a resident of Bihar, this journey was not so straightforward. Nusrat’s name has been in the news for some time now because of a controversy that arose regarding her dress (hijab).

Nusrat, who has completed the BPSC teacher reinstatement process, has now finally joined the school. Today’s date (8 January 2026) is an inspiration for her and all those girls who make their way amidst the constraints of society and administrative complexities.

What was the controversy and why did Nusrat come into limelight?
You might remember that some time ago, during a meeting of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, the issue of Nusrat and Hijab had gained prominence. Due to some technical reasons or the attitude of the local authorities, questions were raised regarding her joining and hijab. There was a lot of debate on this, from social media to the streets – some people were in favor of tradition, while others were in favor of rules. But amid all this noise, Nusrat remained calm and decided to move forward on her own terms.

New innings started
Today the news is that Nusrat Parveen has joined her new duty. Now she will educate children in a government school in Bihar. The biggest thing is that he kept his duty of education paramount. When Nusrat reached school, her colleagues and students also welcomed her. This story tells us that when the intentions are clear and you have a degree of qualification in your hand, then no obstacle can stop your progress.

Relationship between teacher and society
The job of a teacher is to remove darkness from the minds of children. This beginning of Nusrat has sent a big message to the society. Religion and dress have their place, but a teacher is identified by his studies and his hard work. In a state like Bihar, where major reforms are taking place in the education system, there is a real need for conscious and determined teachers like Nusrat.

Our Opinion:
Ultimately, the victory was won by those children who are now going to get a new and energetic teacher. Leaving controversies behind and starting a job shows that Nusrat has come here not just to earn name, but to do her work honestly. Bihar government and the department have also shown prudence here, due to which the matter now seems to be resolved peacefully.

All the best to Nusrat for her new journey. It is hoped that those old bitter experiences will gradually fade away as soon as he holds the pen in his hand.
